New Zealand Warriors is the only rugby team outside Australia that participates in National Rugby League(NRL) Premiership. They are founded in 1995 in the Auckland suburb of Penrose, New Zealand. Initially, they were Auckland Warriors which were officially named Vodafone warriors due to sponsorship. They play their matches on two grounds, the one being Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland and another being Moreton Daily Stadium in Radcliffe where they play home matches.
They won one minor premiership in 2002 and also reached two grand finals of the NRL Premiership in 2002 and 2011.
