Infinite (R) is is a 2021 American science fiction action film directed by Antoine Fuqua.
The film stars Mark Walhberg based on the 2009 novel The Reincarnationist Papers. In March 2017, Paramount Pictures had bought the rights to a spec script entitled Infinite by Ian Shorr with Mark Vahradian and Lorenzo di Bonaventura set to produce the film. The script was described as Wanted meets The Matrix.
A sci-fi, action adaption that examines the concept of reincarnation through remarkable visuals and well-established characters who need to use their memories and past learnt skills to ensure the future is protected from Infinites that seek to end all life on the planet. The film begins by explaining the premise that there are people who can remember everything form their past lives and call themselves Infinites. The Infinites are broken into two factions, the Believers and the Nihilists, who fight against each other to either save humanity or to end it.
