NBCUniversal’s ad-supported streaming service, Peacock, is getting an app on Amazon Fire TV devices nearly one year after launching. The company Tweeted yesterday a picture of an Amazon Fire Stick in a Jell-O mold, a reference to one of NBC’s most popular television series, The Office.

In addition to Peacock, NBCUniversal’s 15 other network apps will be added to the Amazon Fire TV ecosystem including NBC, Bravo, NBC News, NBC Sports, Telemundo, and others.
Amazon’s devices are some of the most popular on the market. These streaming devices include Fire Stick, Echo, and Fire tablets. This is welcome news for cord-cutters who have invested in the Amazon ecosystem. Peacock is already available on other devices such as Apple TV, Android TV, Chromecast, Roku, Vizio and LG smart TVs, as well as most mobile devices.
