Recently, fuboTV has made some changes to its channel line-up. The popular live TV streaming service has added ABC affiliates in 24 more markets and has removed A&E, FYI Channel, History Channel, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, and Vice TV.

This has become a typical occurrence amongst streaming services in order to keep costs low for customers. Previously, fuboTV had dropped Turner Networks such as TNT, TBS, CNN, and Cartoon Network in order to add ESPN’s channel lineup and the Disney Channel. The company had this to say about these tough decisions:

It has always been our mission to offer a leading package of premium sports, news and entertainment programming, while also balancing value and keeping your costs as low as possible.

Sometimes, in order to continue bringing you the new programming and premium features you enjoy, we need to make adjustments to our channel lineup.

If you are an A&E networks fan you are probably a little upset and may be considering switching to a different service. If this is the case we recommend trying Philo if you are not a sports fan or taking a look at Sling TV. Both of these services are considerably less expensive than fuboTV.

ExpressVPN for Sports

In another blow to fuboTV, LaLiga, the top professional soccer league in Spain, reached a new media rights deal with ESPN+. This means LaLiga games will no longer be available on beIn Sports. fuboTV has offered a $6.99 credit to be used to sign-up for ESPN+ or to receive the discount on your August bill.

The company did have this to say:

You can continue watching English Premier League, Champions League, Serie A, Liga MX and many other top leagues with fuboTV. Plus the upcoming CONMEBOL South American Qatar World Cup 2022 Qualifiers – which continue in September and stream exclusively on fuboTV.

The news isn’t all bad however. fuboTV has recently added the local ABC affiliate in 24 more markets. These include:

  • WCVB – Boston
  • WSB – Atlanta
  • WFTV – Orlando
