AT&T TV Review
AT&T TV is an broadband streaming video service. This service is entirely separate from AT&T TV Now. AT&T is putting forth this service as a replacement for AT&T U-verse and DirecTV as the company’s main pay-TV service. Unlike traditional cord-cutting services, it requires a contract and equipment and activation fees. There are no installation appointments required, just plug in the set-top box, follow the instructions, and begin viewing. The service recently rolled out nationwide on March 2nd, 2020.
AT&T TV is mostly being billed as a hybrid replacement for traditional cable and satellite services. This service by AT&T integrates many popular streaming TV and cable features. It is built on an Android-based set-top, the broadband-delivered service offers a lineup of hundreds of live TV channels; 500 hours of DVR storage space; and 40,000 on-demand titles, which can be streamed on a mobile device anywhere in the U.S. The Android box has popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, and HBO Max. Another cool feature is a voice-enabled remote control that is integrated with Google Assistant.
